I’m sure by now you have seen many of my reviews on bluetooth speakers but what if you want a nice “home only” speaker well besides the Malektronic speaker I looked at which was a bit large there’s a smaller version out there but from a company called Soundbot which began with a simple mission to develop a quality audio accessory portfolio inspired by the active lifestyle in Southern California (and also aboard like New Hampshire). Just like in New Hampshire they can surf, ski, mountain bike, and do pretty much any activity 365 days a year. Their attention to detail has enabled them to build a high quality product that was inspired by you. Today I am reviewing SoundBot® SB520 HD Bluetooth 4.0 Wireless Speaker but how well does it work? lets find out…
Product Name: SoundBot® SB520 HD Bluetooth 4.0 Wireless Speaker
Where ? : soundbot.com /Amazon.com
Price : $79.99
The Review:
The packaging, is a box with a sleeve which shows the SoundBot® SB520 for retail purposes which The speaker does have an identifying mark the Soundbot logo on the bottom-front-center. The speaker does come with an Instruction manual in English as well a USB cable to charge there is no cloth bag or crush proof case to protect the speaker from dust when not in use but it’s no worries since I just keep this on my desk and use it with my MacBook speakers. On the top bend of the speaker you will find the power, play/pause , back and forward which is also volume button , call button as well as the mic there is also an audio port so you can use them as a regular non bluetooth speaker
Pairing
This speaker is very easy to pair just turn on your bluetooth setting on your device then your turn on the speaker and search for SB520 with your device
Sound Quality:
I used this for a few weeks and I found the speaker was terrific for using Spotify, watching YouTube videos from my Macbook I also tried it with my tablet and smart phone but for me I like it a lot with my Macbook when I’m at my desk
Conclusion:
So yes the speaker is a bit expensive for some budgets, but is it even worth it? I would say yes if you want a desktop speaker that isn’t very large but also isn’t cheep in quality or sound then with some other bluetooth speakers. One thing I like about this speaker besides the sound and material is the type of cable they gave in the box which a braided cable which as most know I LOVE these cables the best
So in all it’s not bad for a bluetooth speaker,The final score averages out to be a 10 out of 10, but that takes into account everything,
