Today I am going to review a small portable bluetooth adaptor from a company called Mpow® a specialized company in innovative consumer electronics and accessories, such as ultra-slim power bank, Bluetooth receiver, etc. The adaptor costs about $27.99 USD with FREE shipping so that’s all you will pay. So not bad for the price but how does it perform? That’s what this review intends to show you, so read on….
Info:
Product Name:
Mpow® Streambot 2-In-1 Wireless Bluetooth Transmitter and Receiver
Provider: Mpow®
The Review:
The packaging, is typical top open flap the same style as you get with most USB charger travel plugs it’s nothing special, inside the box you will find the adaptor, 3mm to 3mm cable you can also use your own longer 3.5 cable and for retail purposes a picture of the adaptor on the front of the box there’s no features and specifications on the back but rather just a support email since most of the spec info can be found on Amazon
The adaptor does have an identifying mark on it which is Mpow® logo below the place where the bluetooth lighted button is located By first glance this adaptor is small about the size of my thumb (maybe a tad bit larger) this product is great for those who want to make their Amazon Kindle or regular speakers bluetooth compatible with their devices but you might need a longer 3.5 cable those can brought online on Amazon
I’ve used this adaptor with my MacBook, iPad and iPhone to broadcast to Audyssey and water speakers as you saw in the video I found this product to be very useful I was thankful for this since I like to these speakers for my tv listening there is a simple one time pairing just flip on bluetooth on your device and look for the Mpow after you have turned on the receiver/transmitter by pressing down and holding the button till it flashes once paired you will noticed a small flash of blue every few secs This adaptor indeed lives up to the standards that most of us crave for our audio needs in my opinion…
Conclusion:
So yes the adaptor is inexpensive but is it even worth it? I would say YES if you want to use your non bluetooth speakers with your phone or tablet or transmit your kindle’s audio to your bluetooth speakers
So in all it’s not bad for adaptor The final score averages out to be a 10 out of 10,
