Today I am going to review a small portable bluetooth adaptor from a company called Exeter Science & Entertainment (ESE) produces and markets Bluetooth devices under the CoolStream brand. The company is headquartered in Exeter, NH (yep you might of guessed it the same state as I am from NEAT right?) The adaptor costs about $39.99 USD with FREE shipping so that’s all you will pay. So not bad for the price but how does it perform? That’s what this review intends to show you, so read on….
Info:
Product Name: CoolStream Duo with Multipoint Technology
Provider: Coolstream
The Review:
The packaging, is small box inside the box you will find the Duo with a 3.5 cable for non bluetooth devices and a mini usb cable for charging the Duo there is also support and instruction in the box too and for retail purposes
The Duo does have an identifying mark on it which is Coolstream® logo on the front of the product By first glance this adaptor this adaptor might look like just another bluetooth adaptor but it’s not Coolstream has added the 30 pin connection so those with docks from that era can turn there dock into a speaker afterall why throw away something that is still working this product is also great for those who want to make their car bluetooth compatible with their devices
I’ve used this adaptor with my MacBook, iPad and iPhone to broadcast to Audyssey Speakers which are non bluetooth using the aux port on the speakers I found this product to be very useful I was thankful for this since I like to use my Audyssey speakers for my tv listening there is no pairing besides a one time setup pairing with two of your devices just as you would do with other bluetooth device afterwards just flip on bluetooth on your device and look for the Coolstream Duo even if it was paired with a device you can now pair two at the same time, just a note it will also play sound from both devices so keep that in mind This product indeed lives up to the standards that most of us crave for our audio needs in my opinion…
Conclusion:
So yes the product is inexpensive but is it even worth it? I would say YES if you want to use your bluetooth devices in the car with your non bluetooth stereo
So in all it’s not bad for adaptor The final score averages out to be a 10 out of 10,
