Today I am going to review a mini desktop dock from a company called Kanex this company is a a leader of creative Apple and iOS connectivity solutions for homes and businesses worldwide. the station costs about $119.95 USD  comes with Free shipping on Amazon so that’s all you will pay. So not bad for the price but how does it perform? That’s what this review intends to show you, so read on….

Info:

Product Name: Kanex simpleDock

Provider: Kanex

Price:  $119.95

The Review:

The packaging, is a typical box packed up just like Apple would  pack their product the box also shows a picture of the dock along with features and specifications printed on the box

The dock does have an identifying mark on it which is the Kanex logo  on the  top-left of the station there is a nice cord organizer on the bottom of the device keeping the area clean of “wire mess” something I can’t stand myself so I’m glad Kanex thought of it there is also there is shelf on the dock so you can charge your phone at your desk

This dock has 3 USB 3.0 ports one 10W usb port for charging your iPhone or Android devices there is also a place to plug your ethernet cable in  Something that I wished that Kanex would included was VGA,HDMI or some type of monitor port so it could compete with my Plugable Dock which isn’t recommended for Mac but still works

A few things you get make the best of this dock is of course an instruction manual and a power cable which plugs directly into the back of the simpleDock

Conclusion:

So yes the simpleDock is bit on the pricey side , but is it even worth it? I would say Maybe it all depends on what you are looking for if you don’t need monitor support and maybe just want a simple dock and don’t want to have the clutter of wires then this will work I liked that this device doesn’t take up a lot of space on my desk

The final score averages out to be a 10 out of 10, but that takes into account everything,

PROS CONS
+Well Made
+Perfect for anyone who doesn’t want to have a wire clutter when you have your laptop at the desk
– Wish it had monitor support
