Today I am going to review a pair of premium bluetooth headphones from a company called AudioTechnica a leading innovator in transducer technology, renowned for the design and manufacture of microphones, wireless microphones, headphones, mixers, and electronics for the audio industry. the headphone cost about $199.95 USD with about $15-$20 shipping depending on where you buy the headphones so that’s all you will pay. So not bad for the price but how does it perform? That’s what this review intends to show you, so read on….

Info:

The Review:

The packaging, is an easy open cardboard box which opens from the back where the headphones are in a carrying case  also  neatly packed inside is the instructions and varies adaptors  on the box you will find  for retail purposes pictures of the headphones and features and specifications of the  ANC-70

The headphones do have a few identifying marks on it which is AudioTechnica logo on the left and right speaker as well as the play and pause for iTunes  where the volume and noise canceling buttons and audio jack are on the left speaker  on the right speaker you will find the plate is removable to replace the battery for the QuietPoint feature (don’t worry first battery is on AudioTechnica)  This speaker indeed lives up to the fresh design in my opinion…

The headphones come with a one year limited warranty, Instruction manual in English as well a 3mm headphone cable, airplane adaptor  and a phono jack adaptor there’s also a cool lint free velcro pocket which sticks to the inside of the case

Sound Quality:

I used these for a few weeks and I found these headphones were terrific I watched several YouTube videos, listened to Spotify and series  like IntelligenceAlmost HumanThe Tomorrow People and Revolution I was able to block out sounds of friends, family and the tv set  while I used these I still was able to hear a bit of sound outside of the headphone but not as much as with other headphones

Conclusion:

So yes the headphones are expensive for most budgets, but is it even worth it? I would say YES if you want TRUE noise canceling headphones. The AudioTechnica Quietpoint ANC70 would be great for those who travel on a plane and don’t want the noise of the plane to keep them up this way you are able to catch a nap on the 5 or 15 hour flight

So in all it’s not bad for a pair of  noise canceling headphones designed for the smart phone user,But I think they could add a bit more to their design like possibility adding metal hinges to the fold instead of plastic, adding bluetooth to make it more wire friendly  otherwise it’s perfect even with the handle on the case which makes them even more portable

The final score averages out to be a 10 out of 10, but that takes into account everything, but as you can see below it the pros out do the cons by a long shot.

PROS CONS
+ Priced well
+Made and Designed with care
+Sound is very clear and lives up to it’s name of Quietpoint Noise Cancelling
-Headphones when in the case seem
“bulk up” (explained in video)
