Today I am going to review a power bank from a company called No Outlet No Problem this company is a bit different from those I have reviewed for (kinda) it’s a two person team Christina & Tony launched this company on Kickstarter earlier in 2013. Tony is a 200 nights a year business traveler working in the product development world for a fortune 500 company. Christina is the CEO and runs No Outlet No Problem full-time. Together they have developed unique remote charging technologies to keep mobile technology powered when there is no outlet to be found. the power bank costs about $99.95 USD but as I write this it’s going for $59.95 USD and comes with Free shipping so that’s all you will pay. So not bad for the price but how does it perform? That’s what this review intends to show you, so read on….

The Review:
The packaging, is a typical boring box which shows a picture of the power bank in a see-thru window with features and specifications
The power bank does have an identifying mark on it which says “Expedition 3.0 ” on the front of the power bank and if you press the power button in the “silver area” you will find a display which lets you know how much juice you have left I should let you know that it only has a 2 digit display so 99% means two thing that it is full charged or that it is 99% I did noticed when watching my iPad charge for every percent it took about 2% of power from the power bank which I thought was normal since the iPad takes a lot to charge
This power bank has two usb ports both are not the same one is 5V 2.1A and 5V 1A between the two usb ports is a mini USB port to charge the power bank and a neat flashlight if you want to your power bank to lead you downstairs in case of power outage
Something I like about this power bank is it’s built tough but I found with this power bank that it’s extremely slippery but not to worry you do get a nice carrying bag or you get a nice leather case to go with the battery pack which I would recommend you so your power bank doesn’t fall off a bed or sofa
The power bank does come with an instruction manual, mini USB for charging the power bank and you also use for most android phones another cool add-on they give you is a 30 pin adaptor to put on the mini USB cable to charge your phone or tablet
Conclusion:
So yes the power bank is bit pricey , but is it even worth it? I would say YES if you want a powerful power bank to use on a long car ride or airplane ride this will help you make the trip and you won’t lose juice on your devices It’s well-built too made of custom aluminum extrusion also you don’t have to press the power button to charge your device just plug the charger into the power bank and then into your device and it will auto turn off as well as turn off when charge is complete so you don’t over charge your device Now you might be thinking how many hours does it take to charge my device good question one thing that No Outlet No Problem created was a cool chart never saw any other company to do this as well as answer all the customers on their Facebook page this shows they care and those are the companies you want to deal with
So in all it’s not bad for a power bank but if you want a leather power bank then I would order the extra leather case otherwise I think the included the carrying bag works out great
