Today I am going to review a USB Hub from a company called UTechSmart which is a company that makes different computer accessories.  The design of the hub is very unique and  looks very nice for being able to plug your usb devices into  the hub costs about $10.99 USD and comes with Free shipping  so that’s all you will pay. So not bad for the price but how does it perform? That’s what this review intends to show you, so read on….

Recently I have reviewed a similar USB Hub from UTechSmart late last year this hub is very different just in the sense of the material its made from the one I review last year was made of Aluminum and this one is made of a hollow plastic not the best material in my opinion for a portable hub but it still gets the job done  this hub will provide you  data rates of up to 5Gbps – 10 times faster than USB 2.0. You can transfer your photos, music, and HD movies to a USB 3.0 external storage device faster than ever before.

Something I should mention is this hub  may not work with 2.4Ghz wireless devices, such as wireless keyboard and mouse adapters even though I didn’t have any trouble

I used this product for a few weeks and I have to say I wish that the build quality of this hub was a bit more tough to take the bumps in the laptop back wiht and it transfer just as  great perfect for the price too

Conclusion:

So yes the UtechSmart USB 3.0 4 Port Hub is an inexpensive product, but is it even worth it? I would say yes but if  you travel a lot and need a few extra USB ports

So in all it’s not bad for a hub if you won’t be shoving it into a full bag of other tech gear where it could break then you like this hub
