Joby Gorillapod Hybrid

Today I am going to review a portable tripod from a company called Joby which sells a bunch of different tripods and mounts  or your smart phone or camera.  The design of the tripod is very unique and  looks very nice for keeping your camera safe while filming normally you have  to carry a large tripod something you can’t always do when you fly on an airplane the tripod costs about $39.99USD and comes with Free shipping  so that’s all you will pay. So not bad for the price but how does it perform? That’s what this review intends to show you, so read on….

The tripod has one identifying mark on it which is the Joby logo at the top of the top of the

The tripod comes with one removable tripod screw so you can remove your camera and not have to unscrew the tripod from the camera like you have to do with most other mobile tripods . Additional Adapters may be brought to go along your Joby Gorillapod.

This Gorillapod is great portable tripod for trade shows or if you are just starting out on YouTube Since its bendable you can use it anywhere you want like on a fencepost or a tree branch Joby has different portable tripods to work with different cameras The Hybrid is for cameras, video cameras and other devices weighing up to 1 kg | 2.2 lbs

Another cool feature of this tripod that no other portable tripod can compete is the fluid tripod head which I have yet to see on other cheaper versions of mobile tripods

I used this product for a few weeks and even took this tripod and 2 other Joby products to CES I really liked the design and usefulness of the UltraFit Sling Strap when it came to holding my camera then the typical Sony strap around my neck it sure makes the difference  I recommend if this product if you take a lot of photos like at weddings or if you are an outdoor photographer  One thing that is cool about the Joby UltraPlate™ is you can connect your GorillaPod Hybrid screw or typical tripod plate screw and Sling Strap to the ultraplate which adds more freedom to the photographer besides being limited to just one area

Conclusion:

So yes Joby Gorillapod Hybrid is an inexpensive product, but is it even worth it? I would say yes but I would also recommend you get a few different accessories from Joby to go along with your GorillaPod for me I found the Sling Strap and Ultra Plate as a use for me but you will find your own combo of which Joby Products fit you

So in all it’s not bad for a mobile tripod compared to others out there I don’t think you will find any other product better than Joby from the design to the way there products are made there made tough then some other cheaper look alike

The final score averages out to be a 10 out of 10, but that takes into account everything, but as you can see below it the pros out do the cons by a long shot.
