Everything we use has a USB from phones to mics you name it mostly anything we use on the computer has one and like
most computers they only give you a few then how do we solve the problem of using more USB’s well you would have to get a USB Hub and there many you can use depending if you also want to charge a ipad there is one for that which I did a review on but today we are going to take a look at the UtechSmart USB Port Hub with this hub you can connect up to 7 USB
3.0, 2.0, or 1.1 devices to any USB 2.0 or 3.0 capable computer and its Attractive, solid, compact design with per-port Blue LEDs for diagnosing connectivity. But again I should warn you that This hub is not designed to serve as a standalone charger and will
not charge an iPad tablet or any other device with non-standard charge requirements Also to ensure a stable connection, the
connected devices must not exceed a combined current of 5A. This is especially important for any devices with high power requirements such as “self-powered” hard drives which draw power from the USB port and 2.4Ghz wireless devices, such as wireless keyboard and mouse adapters, may not work in close proximity to USB 3.0 devices or hubs. Overall its a very handy USB hub and I didn’t have any problems with it and I would recommenced this if you just need a
basic hub with no iPad charging port
